- After you have registered for an appointment, please fill out the registration form which you can found under Contact at the bottom of the page.
- Your first appointment is an anamnesis (assessment).
Here I note down information about the dog, diet, training (dog sports, e.g. dummy, agility, etc.), diagnoses (illnesses & operations) from the vet, etc. and I carry out a diagnosis of the joints, the thorax and a gait analysis. Please also bring diagnostic findings and/or x-rays from the vet if you have them.
The treatment plan will be based on these findings.
- In the following appointments, your dog will be treated according to the plan, preventive measures will be taken or your dog will receive a small wellness treatment. :)
The intervals at which you must come with your dog depend on the findings.
Please note:
- An appointment must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance, otherwise the appointment will be charged in full.
- Your dog should not have eaten anything for at least 2 hours before the appointment, as it does not “work” well with a full stomach.
- Your dog should be clean when it comes for treatment. Wipes are available in case he is wet.
- If your dog has an infectious disease (stomach flu, worm infestation, etc.) or a fever, please let us know in good time and we will postpone your appointment.
- If your dog is in heat, please let me know and we will reschedule your appointment so that I can treat all other patients (male dogs) in peace, or you must put at least one heat panty on your dog in the practice.
- Please do not apply any anti-tick products (spot-on) shortly before your appointment.
- Please bring treats for your dog if he has an allergy.
- A cloth or blanket from home can help your dog in the practice.
- If your dog has an issue with strangers, please bring a muzzle with you.
I reserve the right to muzzle your dog if necessary and you do not have your own. (I have muzzles in different sizes).
